Ellie Torrez is a trained Actress and Host from London, England. She cut her teeth at the prestigious Brit school of Performing Arts from the age of 13, then went on to gain a BA Honors Degree at Dartington College of Arts & on an exchange program in America. She has studied in New York, Baltimore & at the Actors Studio in both LA & London & is now based in the United States.

Ellie has worked on many British & International Film & T.V projects, including Eastenders, Run Fat Boy Run, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People & Last Chance Harvey. She also starred in the highly acclaimed Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde winning the LA – Shriekfest - Best Actress Award - for her role as Claire Caine. She then went onto play the feisty Ruby Wilkins in David Cross' Respire & had her own love triangle storyline in drama series Persona - playing Eve Moreau.

Her series of high-profile commercial credits include Patron Tequila, Nokia, Vanish, BBC Eden & 'Cocaine Unwrapped' One Line = One Life. She has also worked with Ant & Dec on their ITV show Red or Black & on Universal Music's - Soft Rock Anonymous Campaign.

Currently in post-production are films Granny DJ - where she plays Granny DJ’s hot headed daughter Hannah & The Reborn playing Sister Helen.

Ellie Torrez is also one of 3 Producers and Company Directors at Tripod Productions – together they have created an array of contrasting short films to showcase their talents & tell compelling stories. Ellie even got behind the camera & made her directorial debut with their gritty & hard-hitting film Milo - which confronts the harsh reality of Mental Health & Grief. Milo is currently doing the festival circuit winning a multitude of awards & gaining stellar reviews. Tripod Productions is currently in Pre-production for their first feature film to be shot in the U.S.

Ellie Torrez is also a TV presenter & Host & has interviewed many high-profile stars & familiar faces including Bill Nighy, Billy Zane, Gemma Arterton, Lily James, many of the cast of Towie, Love Island & even Judge Rinder, to name but a few. She has also hosted many live events such as SM Global Catwalk in London, New York, Dallas & New Jersey, The London Rolling Film Festival & Camelot Film Festival, Flame International & Cisco Live in Barcelona. She recently co-hosted The Reed Awards in Austin Texas & interviewed many of the filmmakers at The Annapolis Film Festival.

Ellie also regularly interviews celebrities on The Red Carpet & at Premieres & Press Junkets for The Fan Carpet.
